Want extra support for teachers at your school implementing the Digital Technologies curriculum? After ideas for STEM projects? Looking for ways to integrate the Digital Technologies subject with other learning areas? Or want expert advice about Digital Literacy and who school approaches to ICT integration?
After the COVID-19 disruption to ACT schools throughout 2020, the InTEACT committee have decided that for 2021 we would like to extend an offer of significantly discounted membership to all schools in the ACT regardless of sector. Whether you’re a teacher in a primary school or a high school, in the independent, catholic or government sectors, now is the time to get your school involved with InTEACT.
An InTEACT institutional membership is usually valued at $300, but for 2021 all schools in the ACT can join the organisation for the discounted price of $100! That’s the price of just two individual memberships! And here’s just a snapshot of what your institutional membership entitles you to:
- Access to discounted professional development for all teachers at your school, with no limit on the number of attendees at any one event;
- Free access to our lending library of resources to support Digital Technologies education, and lesson support materials for these resources;
- Access to a team of experts willing to assist schools with their Digital Technologies and ICT learning and strategy goals;
- For 2021, we’re also offering full reimbursement of one ticket to the ACCE 2021 Virtual Symposium for Digital Technologies and IT Educators. That’s an additional $50 in value!
The full list of membership benefits – and the membership form to join the association – can be found on our membership page. We’re also reaching out to every Principal in the ACT with this letter over the next couple of weeks – feel free to share this with your Principal and with colleagues at other schools so they are aware of this fantastic opportunity.
