The annual Keane Consulting Next Gen ICT prize provides funding for a young, Canberra woman attending a Canberra tertiary institution to undertake STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics)-based studies (preferably ICT focused) for their first year of study. Although the prize includes a cash component, there is also practical, hands-on support. This includes access to business mentoring, support finding a job, networking and access to WIC (Women in ICT) executive committee meetings to further develop business awareness, knowledge and understanding. Year 12 students are welcome to apply.
