The 2017 Bebras computational thinking challenge runs from 6-17 March, and computational thinking is an important part of the new Digital Technologies curriculum.
The challenge is open to all schools, conducted online, appropriate for years 3 -12, and is great fun activity and FREE. Students don’t need to have had any experience programming or writing code – the focus is on thinking and problem-solving, but exposes students to the kinds of problems typical in computer science.
