The Canberra Girls’ Programming Network is a community for female students to learn about programming and technology through hands on workshops. The girls are introduced to female role models across academia, government and industry.
The next workshop topic is Flappy Bird! Pygame will be used to send the student’s flappy bird flying through the sky, hopefully avoiding many obstacles that are in the way.
The September workshop will be held on Sunday September 10th, 2017.
Where: Radford College, 1 College St, Bruce ACT 2617
- Participants need to arrive by 9:30am for registration
- Workshop begins at 10am
- Parents and teachers invited for afternoon tea at 3:30pm
- Conclusion at 4 pm.
Who: Female students from grades 4 – 12
No coding experience is necessary.
