Bruce Fuda, our 2015 winner of the InTEACT ICT Educator of the Year award, has been awarded the Australian ICT Educator of the Year for 2016 through the Australian Council for Computers in Education and the ACS. The announcement from the ACCE was made a month ago and details of Bruce’s award nomination and win can be found at the link below:

The 2016 Leader of the Year was A/Prof Katrina Falkner from the University of Adelaide, who presented at our 2015 conference and heads up the CSER Digital Technologies MOOC project (which some of our members have been involved in).
InTEACT will be calling for nominations for the 2016 ACT Educator and Leader of the Year in Term 3 – start thinking about ICT educators you know that would be worthy recipients for the award. It would be great to have another high-quality nominee in the mix for the 2017 awards.
Congratulations to Bruce for being recognised nationally for his efforts!
