Students are our future builders! Amazon is committed to inspiring the next generation of technology leaders, and we’re inviting Year 9 and Year 10 students to take part in the AWS Student Cloud Technology Day for a day of innovation and skill building.
Join us as we demystify the concept of artificial intelligence through interactive learning activities. Examine the principles of cloud computing, acquire voice-design skills, and gain practical experience working on a voice-enabled solution.
Teachers accompanying students to the workshop will have an opportunity join AWS for lunch to learn about the AWS Educate program, and its many classroom and career-focused applications.
The AWS Student Cloud Technology Day for high school students will run on Tuesday, 11 September 2018, from 9:00am to 2:30pm, at the National Convention Centre in Canberra. As we wish to give all schools a chance to participate, seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To reserve seats for your school, please reply to this email with the following information byFriday, 24 August 2018. We will subsequently send out a school registration pack to confirm your registration.
Kindly note that reservation is on a first-come-first-serve basis and seats are limited.
Please reply to this email stating:
- Name and email address of the point of contact for the school;
- Number of students attending and their grade year. Please note that the maximum number of students is capped at 20 per school. If you wish to send more students, please indicate any number in excess to be placed on a waiting list, (e.g., 8 x Year 9 students and 7 x Year 10 students + 6 x Year 10 students on waiting list);
- Number of teachers accompanying students.
