InTEACT Members are encouraged to consider nominating as a speaker for the 2017 ACT Astronomy and Space Science Conference.
The conference is being convened by Giralang Primary School and will be run on Saturday 4 March 2017.
The organisers are particularly keen for members to speak on topics related to the Space Science strand of the conference. This is heavily STEM focused and could include topics as diverse as robotics (for instance simulating the exploration of another planet) or data collection using either a Raspberry Pi or a Arduino as the basis for a datalogger. The later forms the basis of a Cansat competition carried out in Europe (where the simulated satellite is launched by a model rocket on a flight. Another topic that your members could present on is the use of 3D printing.
