Ladies, awaken your inner coder with Python! @ 10am-1pm on the 11th of March

Women Programmers

It’s been said that coding is like reading. First we learn to read, then we read to learn…

Here’s a chance to take some first steps in Python programming or take this opportunity for some time-on-the-tools with fellow female peers – you don’t need to have had any experience programming before, just be willing to learn and play in a comfortable environment with other like-minded women.

For women aged 17 years upwards, including those that aspire to be a Canberra Girl’s Programming Network (GPN) tutor.

It’s free and will be held at ANU from 10am-1pm on the 11th of March.

The room will be limited so it is essential to inform you are coming via email to Su-en at suenwilliams8@gmail.com and to receive preparation details prior to the day.

But mostly, it’s to have fun and support each other to grow the diversity and inclusiveness of Canberra’s tech community!
