University of Canberra Logo

On behalf of the University of Canberra, I would like to formally invite you to attend the STEM Education Research Centre (SERC) Spatial Reasoning Seminar. This seminar will take place on the 23rd and 24th of November 2016 at the University of Canberra.

Our aim is that the seminar will provide a forum for challenging ideas and engaging people from a diverse range of disciplines to inform discussion around spatial reasoning and how to foster its development throughout the lifespan.

The seminar will include keynote presentations from Professor Mary Hegarty (University of California, Santa Barbara) and Centenary Professor Thomas Lowrie (University of Canberra). The attached program highlights some of the other confirmed speakers.

We are inviting participation during the lightning talks from a range of disciplines and stakeholders. If you would like to contribute a 3-5 minute presentation please advise the organising committee at serc@canberra.edu.au. Please extend the invitation to colleagues, including post-doc or PHD students, who would be interested in attending or presenting.

Please see attached for the invitation, which includes a preliminary program, including the confirmed speakers.
