Palace Cinemas is excited to announce our first education screening as part of EFFA 2016 in Canberra on the 14th of October.

The screening for secondary school students at Palace Electric Cinemas is set to inspire the younger generation to engage with environmental issues, and to provide teachers with a unique rich educational option to tie into classroom activities across a number of disciplines.

Revolution is an empowering firsthand look into the most important issues facing humanity, the story of how we got here, the ecosystems we depend on for survival, and the dawn of the largest movement that’s ever existed that’s rising to the challenge of saving our world.

Who: Years 7 to 12
When: Friday 14 October at 10.00 AM
Price: Students $10 | Teachers free (One per 20 students)

Education resource kits + guest speaker

All teachers and schools are able to access an Education Resource Kit for the film, prepared by the EFFA Education Team, which includes activities for before, during, and after the screening.

Revolution also comes with an extensive education resource for further ideas.

At the screening, students and teachers will enjoy an introductory presentation from a local environmental and sustainability leader, setting the scene for the film and engaging students in a pre-film discussion.
