At the recent Vivid Live festival in Sydney, a research report support by Digital Careers, Intel and the Australian Council for Computers in Education was released. This was announced at a special event – Inspiring the Next Generation of Creative, Entrepreneurial and Digital Women.

The report can be found online at the following URL:

This is great work that highlights a real need for more to be done to get girls excited about opportunities for learning and engagement in the Digital Technologies and ICT.

For those that could not be there, Intel now have a podcast of the event (Thanks to the Teachers Education Review Podcast) and Sylvia Martinez’s guide to Engaging Girls in Technology Girls in Tech: Inspiring the next generation of Creative, Entrepreneurial and Digital Women available for download.
